About the Owner

Hello!  My name is Randy Davis and I am the Founder and Owner of Davis Defense LLC, where: “Your safety and security is our priority.”

I retired as a manager at AT&T, where I had been employed for 30 years.  I became an Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary Officer in March of 2023 where I am pleased to serve the people of the State of Ohio alongside of the Troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. I am the father of two teenage daughters who are the loves of my life.  By my side is my wife and business partner, Stacey Fowler-Davis.  I have been a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio for approximately 38 years.  I am the Saints of Security ministry leader at New Salem, where we handle parking and security concerns.

Being the son of a retired Columbus Police Officer, I have had a longtime respect and admiration for law enforcement officers which fostered my interest in handguns and the safe use of them.  This led to my training and certification by the NRA (National Rifle Association) to become an NRA Instructor authorized in the basic course of Certified Pistol in 2013 and recertified in 2020.  I decided to start Davis Defense LLC with the encouragement of my friends and family.  I feel that it is important for anyone who chooses to use a firearm to know the basics of using one in a safe manner.
